Reason for Recommended Action/Background
Staff recommends the permanent appointment of Tony Kildare as the County's Mental Health Director. Pursuant to State law and the Government Code, a Licensed Clinician must be designated for this role to meet the County's obligations under California Welfare and Institutions Code (WIC) §5604. This appointment ensures ongoing compliance with statutory requirements.
