Recommended Action
Accept consolidation of district elections with the Uniform District Election Law (UDEL) Election to be held on November 4, 2025.

Reason for Recommended Action/Background
A Uniform District Election Law (UDEL) Election is scheduled for Tuesday, November 4, 2025. The Yolo County Registrar of Voters, under the delegated authority from the Board of Supervisors and in accordance with section 10400 of the California Elections Code, has agreed to consolidate requests from various jurisdictions with the UDEL Election. These jurisdictions have adopted resolutions to request election services and agreed to reimburse the County for the incurred costs:
- Cacheville Community Services District
- Esparto Community Services District
- Knights Landing Community Services District
- Madison Community Services District

Although there is not a fiscal impact at this time, if these community service districts (CSD) do go to election, there will be a cost associated with running that election which will require the department to bill participating CSDs to recover the cost of the election.
