Reason for Recommended Action/Background
On February 13, 2026, the Department of Financial Services (DFS) issued the Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR) for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2025 (Attachment C). Federal guidelines require that the Single Audit be filed with the Federal Audit Clearinghouse no later than March 31st of each year. The audit of federal expenditures (or Single Audit) was issued on March 6, 2026 (Attachment D). The County’s financial statements received an unmodified (clean) opinion from our independent auditors. No financial statements or federal award findings were reported.
