Recommended Action
- Approve reimbursement of $99,860 to the Road Fund for FY 21/22 Quarter 2 activities for efforts to assemble construction ready documents, to pursue grant application opportunities, and implement construction of road projects; and
- Adopt a budget resolution increasing appropriations and estimated revenues for the Road Fund by $99,860 for reimbursement of project activities for FY 21/22 Quarter 2.

Reason for Recommended Action/Background
In Fiscal Year (FY) 21-22 Adopted Budget, the Board of Supervisors allocated $350,000 in contingency funds to the Department of Community Services for efforts to assemble construction ready documents, to pursue grant application opportunities, and implement construction of road projects.
For Quarter 2 of FY 21-22, County staff efforts of $99,860 were expended toward work on the following projects that are in process:
With approval of this reimbursement, $198,585 will remain in this contingency funding for the second half of FY 21-22.
For Quarter 2 of FY 21-22, County staff efforts of $99,860 were expended toward work on the following projects that are in process:
- Ongoing design efforts on the 2022 Pavement Preservation Project
- Ongoing design efforts on the County Road 27 Bike Lane & Rehabilitation Project
- Ongoing design efforts and Cal Fire grant opportunity for the County Road 41 Washout Relocation Project
- Geotechnical investigation for rehabilitation design for 2022 spring/summer road maintenance projects on portions of County Roads 1, 7, 16, 84, 89, and 89B
- Coordination with the City of Davis for the future County Road 102 bike project
With approval of this reimbursement, $198,585 will remain in this contingency funding for the second half of FY 21-22.
