Adopt resolution designating YoloArts as the State-Local Partner with the California Arts Council and the central arts agency for the County of Yolo.

Reason for Recommended Action/Background
The California Arts Council (CAC), a state agency, administers grant programs in alignment with their mission to advance California through the arts and creativity. YoloArts, as the county-designated local arts agency, is eligible each year to apply to the State-Local Partnership (SLP) program for general operating support and technical assistance. Currently, the maximum request amount is $65,000, which supports executive leadership for YoloArts.
To be eligible for funding, YoloArts must submit a current resolution approved by the Yolo County Board of Supervisors. The CAC will accept resolutions with evergreen language instead of specific dates that coincide with the grant activity period to avoid needing annual renewal with a resolution to the Board.
