Reason for Recommended Action/Background

See Attachment A for changes to the Authorized Position and Salary Resolution.

HHSA Building Services Coordinator - New class established as a result of a classification review. Reallocates two full-time filled Senior Storekeeper positions to HHSA Building Services Coordinator and reclassifies both incumbents.

HHSA Fleet Attendant I/II - New class series established as a result of a classification review. Reallocates three full-time positions (2.0 FTE Admin Clerk II and 1.0 FTE Office Support Specialist) to HHSA Fleet Attendant II. Reclassifies the only incumbent from Administrative Clerk II to HHSA Fleet Attendant II.

HHSA Support Services Generalist I/II - New class series established as a result of a classification review. Reallocates two full-time Storekeeper positions to HHSA Support Services Generalist II. Reclassifies both incumbents.

Accountant II/Accountant-Auditor I - Reallocates one regular full-time Accountant-Auditor I position to Accountant II. Reclassifies the incumbent resulting in a salary increase of approximately 10%. Since this is the last incumbent in the Accountant-Auditor I class it will be correspondingly abolished, in accordance with the 2014 Countywide fiscal classification study.
