Accept update from the Assessor/Clerk-Recorder/Registrar of Voters regarding districts calling for elections to be consolidated with the March 5, 2024, Presidential Primary Election.

Reason for Recommended Action/Background
A Presidential Primary Election has been called to be held on Tuesday, March 5, 2024. Under delegated authority from the Board of Supervisors (Board) pursuant to section 10400 of the California Elections Code, the Yolo County Registrar of Voters has accepted requests from jurisdictions to consolidate their elections with the March 5, 2024, Presidential Primary Election. These jurisdictions have passed resolutions requesting election services and have resolved to reimburse the County for related costs. Cities and districts have until Friday, December 8, 2023, 88 days prior to the election (E-88), to submit their request to the Registrar of Voters. Currently, there are four jurisdictions that will be consolidating with the March 5, 2023, Presidential Primary Election:
- Sacramento County Board of Education
- City of Woodland
- Davis Joint Unified School District
- Woodland Joint Unified School District
