Reason for Recommended Action/Background

  • Board Intern/Management Intern/Job Intern Trainee/Page/Work Experience Student - Increases the salary to keep pace with the state minimum wage increase to $16.50/hour, effective January 1, 2025. 
  • Branch Director Health and Human Services - Reallocates one Assistant Director of Health and Human Services.
  • Deputy Branch Director Health and Human Services - Reallocates one Chief Fiscal Administrative Officer.
  • Sheriff's Background Investigator (Extra Help) - Establishes a new class and salary. This class will primarily be used by Retired Annuitants functioning as extra help Background Investigators for the Sheriff’s Office. No authorized positions will be allocated to this class.
