Reason for Recommended Action/Background
See Attachment A for changes to the Authorized Position and Salary Resolution.
The Health and Human Services Agency is losing one of its behavioral health contracts (FSP), effective June 30th, 2025. The loss of the contract impacts approximately 200 clients who still need to receive services. Therefore, it was determined that services should be brought in-house to the Health and Human Services Agency. The Health & Human Services Agency will be able to fund these position conversions in the current FY25-26 Recommended Budget proposal, and there will be no impact to the general fund.
