Reason for Recommended Action/Background
See Attachment A for the proposed sideletter agreement with Yolo County Management Association, which provides clarification and updates regarding uniform and boot allowances. Specifically, it extends a boot allowance to management employees consistent with subordinate bargaining units, establishes lump-sum annual payments for uniform and/or boot allowances, and clarifies that such compensation will not be considered in the calculation of retirement benefits.
