Reason for Recommended Action/Background
See Attachment A for changes to the Authorized Position and Salary Resolution.
- Board Intern/Management Intern/Job Intern Trainee/Page/Work Experience Student — Increases the salary to keep pace with the state minimum wage increase to $16.90/hour, effective January 1, 2026.
- Emergency Preparedness Program Coordinator — converts from limited term to regular. Funding for this position comes for General Funds and a variety of grants.
- Director of Communications — establishes a new class and salary range and reallocates from a Public Information Officer. Funding for this reallocation was included as part of the adopted budget.
- Assistant Superintendent of the Juvenile Detention Facility — reestablishes a former classification and salary range and reallocates from a Probation Division Manager, which was approved at adopted budget. This action will result in annual savings of $21,952.
