Reason for Recommended Action/Background
The County reached a tentative agreement with the Yolo County Correctional Officers Association and the resulting Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) is included as Attachment A. The primary changes include:
- 3-year term
- 1.5% cost of living adjustment (COLA) effective the pay period including July 1, 2025; 2% COLA effective the pay period including July 1, 2026; 2% COLA effective the pay period including July 1, 2027
- Phased implementation of equity adjustments per total compensation survey: 50% of the equity adjustment effective the pay period including July 1, 2025; 30% of the equity adjustment effective the pay period including July 1, 2026; 20% of the equity adjustment effective the pay period including July 1, 2027
- Updates to job-related disability benefits
