Designate a voting delegate and alternate for the February 23, 2026, CALAFCO Special Business Meeting

Designate the Executive Officer as the voting delegate and Deputy Executive Officer as the alternate, if needed.

CALAFCO has scheduled a virtual Special Business Meeting on February 23, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. to vote on proposed amendments to its Bylaws regarding its Board structure as part of the Association's broader transformation effort and in direct response to member feedback. 

According to the Yolo LAFCo Administrative Policies and Procedures, "the most senior Regular Commissioner attending the conference will be the voting member." If no regular commissioner attends the CALAFCO conference, the Executive Officer will be the voting member. Since the Special Business Meeting is not occurring at a conference, as is typical, staff can serve in this role. Otherwise, Commissioner Frerichs is the most senior member.
