Reason for Recommended Action/Background

The 40th District Agricultural Association, Yolo County Fair, a state entity, is located on 55 acres in the center of Woodland, CA. Hosts the annual Yolo County Fair in August, Woodland Wonderland of Lights in December, and 75+ community events year-round. Vital community asset in Yolo County, designated emergency response venue. 

Collaborations (including Board advisory groups and external partner agencies)

Yolo County Sherrif's Department, Visit Yolo, Yolo County Fair Heritage Foundation, local FFA groups, local 4H groups, multiple community sponsors and not-for-profit organizations.
