The County’s Road Division offices, originally constructed in 1969, are in need of modernization to support current operational needs. The proposed project scope includes interior upgrades, improvements to the building envelope, enhanced ventilation and cooling, improvements to overall building functionality, creation of a dedicated training room, and the addition of a carport to protect the west side of the facility and related vehicles from sun exposure.
With the Board’s adoption of the plans and specifications, the Director of General Services, or designee, will be authorized to issue a competitive solicitation for construction bids. Staff will return to the Board in June 2026 to request approval of the construction contract.

The General Services Department, in collaboration with the Department of Community Services, Department of Finance, County Administrator's Office and County Counsel.
Competitive Bid Process/Vendor Performance
The County intends to competitively solicit bids shortly after the Board of Supervisors approves the plans and specifications. Staff anticipate returning to the Board of Supervisors in June 2026 to seek approval of the construction contract.
