Reason for Recommended Action/Background
A General Election is scheduled for Tuesday, November 3, 2026. The Yolo County Registrar of Voters, under the delegated authority from the Board of Supervisors and in accordance with section 10400 of the California Elections Code, has agreed to consolidate requests from various jurisdictions with the General Election. These jurisdictions have adopted resolutions to request election services and agreed to reimburse the County for the incurred costs.
Cities, school districts, and special districts must submit their consolidation requests to the Registrar of Voters. As of now, 16 jurisdictions are set to consolidate with the General Election on November 3, 2026.
