Reason for Recommended Action/Background
Partnership HealthPlan of California is one of five County Organized Health Systems operating in California to manage the care of the participating county's Medi-Cal recipients. Partnership is a health insuring organization that is a legal subdivision of the State of California, but not part of any city, county or state government system. Partnership is governed by a commission comprised of representatives from each of the member counties. Commission seats are determined by the number of enrolled members in participating counties. Yolo County currently holds two seats on the Commission. Mónica Morales, Director of the Yolo County Health and Human Services Agency was appointed in 2025. Gena Bravo, President/CEO of Woodland Memorial Hospital has served one four year term, and is able to continue for an additional term. The Board of Supervisors appoints all commissioners.
