Public Comments - Pursuant to Texas Government Code 551.007, the commissioners court allows any person to make comment on any item appearing on the agenda, however in this section of public comment any person may make comment on items not posted on the agenda.  Any comments made will not be deliberated on by the Commissioners Court during this Public Comments agenda item. Public Comments are limited to three (3) minutes per person.

Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on the Election Commission's request to adopt a succession plan, under which the newly appointed Elections Administrator would officially assume duties on January 1, 2026, and to add one (1) full-time staff member, not to exceed two (2) months, to the Elections Office to train the new Elections Administrator. Consideration of approval to place property lien, pursuant to action previously taken and approved by the Burnet County Commissioners Court to address Texas Health & Safety Code public nuisances issues at 208 Deer Springs Drive, Burnet County.  Said potential action includes filing a sworn account of costs, acknowledgment by the owner of said costs plus, and copies of the previous orders issued by the Commissioners Court to accompany the lien to be filed. a. Approval to accept, sign, electronically sign, and/ or execute all necessary documents and actions for the FY 2026 Statewide Automated Victim Notification Service (SAVNS) grant;
b. Approval to accept, sign, and/ or execute all necessary documents and actions regarding the Texas State Library and Archives Commission's LIFI grant contractor of $60,000 on behalf of the Bertram Library;
c. Approval to accept, sign, and/ or execute all necessary documents and actions regarding the revised Motor Vehicle Crime Prevention Authority of the State of Texas grant and statement of grant award for Heart of Texas Auto Task Force that was signed in Burnet County Commissioners Court on August 5, 2025; and
d. Approval to accept, sign, and/ or execute all necessary documents and actions regarding the addendum to the co-operative "piggy-back" agreement for Burnet County fuel card services and consigned fuel supply for Road and Bridge Precinct 1 - (Luther).
