The agenda packet is also posted on the county website at www.burnetcountytexas.org, under Public Meetings. A hard copy of the agenda packet is available in the County Clerk's office. Our Mission Statement: The mission of Burnet County is to maintain overall efficient and effective management of county resources while providing the  services mandated by state and federal law and desired by the citizens of Burnet County.

Public Comments - Pursuant to Texas Government Code 551.007 and the Burnet County commissioners court Rules of Decorum, any person may make comment on any item not appearing on the agenda. Any comments made will not be addressed by the Commissioners Court during the Public Comments agenda item. Public Comments are limited to three (3) minutes per person.

Set place, date, and time for the public hearing regarding Petition consideration requesting the formation of Burnet County Emergency Services District, No. 11. Said public hearing will be held at the regular session of the Burnet County Commissioners Court meeting August 12, 2025 at 9:00 a.m Burnet County Courthouse, Burnet, Texas. (Wilson)

Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on moving commissioners court sessions to weekly Tuesday meetings. (Wilson)

Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action to revise the FY26 adopted budget calendar and set a special session for commissioners court on July 16, 17, or 18 to discuss FY26 pay, classifications, re-classifications, new positions, and other Human Resources related financial matters. (Wilson)

Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action to review the County Attorney's, District Attorney's, and Public Defenders' Office proposed budgets in a workshop on July 15, 2025 instead of in the workshop scheduled for July 8, 2025.

Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action regarding approval for reclassification of the Information Technology Assistant position from hourly, non-exempt to a salaried, exempt position, along with a pay reclassification to Group 68. (Wilson)
